My client, a fast moving manufacturing business based in Cornwall, are looking for a self-motivated, quick thinking management accountant to further compliment their existing team.
The position will report directly to the Financial Controller and duties will include;
Production of weekly management accounts focusing on sales and manufacturing performance, including key performance indicators relating to sales by customer and sales office, material variance analysis and labour efficiencies.
Daily reporting on manufacturing efficiencies
Supporting Commercial team with cost analysis on all products in development and customer tendering.
Promotional costing and justification.
Production of profitability reports by customer, product and product group.
Update and maintain standard costing system.
The successful candidate will need to be an individual that can think on their feet whilst still being able to get the job done! You will ideally be a late stage studier or fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience. For the right candidate you can expect a salary of £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
